We are a small, family run, applied ethnobotanical research company located in Northern California that is dedicated to providing our customers with high quality ethnobotanicals and entheogens, medicinal herbs, high potency extracts, live plants, viable seeds, essential oils, nootropics, and more, at very competitive prices. We encourage everyone to research and understand these sacred herbs that have been used by shamans and medicine men since prehistoric times.

Did you know that the use of Sacred Herbs for medicinal and spiritual purposes is older than the human existence?

Its true!  A 50,000 year old Neanderthal burrial site named Shanidar IV, located in modern day Iraq, was found to contain at least 8 species of medicinal and shamanic plants including regional varieties of Ephedra, Yarrow, Thistle, and Althea. Other important medicinal plants such as Papaver somniferum have been discovered in thousands of other archeological sites from the paleolithic era which suggests that even pre-homosapiens were well aware of the spiritual and medicinal applications of the plants that grew around them.

Almost every major world religion throughout history is deeply rooted in the use of sacred herbs for spiritual or medicinal purposes?

Whether you subscribe to Christianity, Judaism, Hinduism, or Islam, you are bound to find many refferences to spiritual plants and healing herbs in the Holy Scriptures of these religions.  Plants such as Calamus, Broom, Fankincense, Juniper,  Mandrake, Myrrh, Thorn Apple, Valerian, Willow, Wormwood, and many others were clearly recognized in early Christianity for their spiritual and medicinal purposes.  Hinduism's Rig Veda praises the Soma Mushroom for 120 of its 1028 hymns!  Almost every major world religion is deeply rooted in the ritual use of plants to achieve spiritual nourishment.   These plants are deeply entrenched in humanity! Therefore, it is very important for society to research and understand the cultural history behind entheogens, ethnobotanicals, and medicinal herbs, and to embrace them as humanity's oldest standing traditions, rather than approaching them with fear and apprehension!

Since we are a direct importer of many ethnobotanicals, we have many reliable sources from around the world to aquire the highest quality specimens available!

Whether your interested in Western Herbalism, Traditional Chinese Medicine, South American Herbal Medicine, Ayurveda, Medicinal Mushrooms, or our Propreitary Remedies, you are sure to find the bulk medicinal herbs, potent extracts, or supplements that you are looking for!  KT Botanicals encourages our visitors to research the fascinating world of herbal medicine.  In recent years, herbal medicine has been almost completely replaced by modern synthetic pharmaceutical medicine.  Synthetic pharmaceuticals single handedly kill over 150,000 Americans per year making them a leading killer of americans behind Tobacco and Alcohol related deaths.  How can something be called a medicine when it is a country's leading cause of premature death?  We think its time to get back to nature and we're dedicated to providing our customers with accurate information regarding the historical applications for the herbs, extracts, and herbal supplements that we sell so that you can make informed decisions before you buy!

We constantly review our sources and regularly perform product and price comparisons with the current market rates to ensure that we can provide our customers with the highest quality natural botanical products at the lowest price on the market. Since our company's success depends primarily upon customer loyalty, we are dedicated to earning your trust, and will do everything in our power to ensure that your purchase is a pleasant one! We invite you to become a member of the ever-growing ethnobotanical community, made up of members who are dedicated to researching the world’s most treasured herbs, seeds, plants, and fungi!  If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us, or read through our Frequently Asked Questions Section, which covers some basic questions.  Thank you for choosing us!
